‘Adopt A Basket’ is an initiative of Go Beyond All Borders (GBAB), the active mission arm of Liquid Church.
‘Adopt a Basket’ first started in December 2008 when Liquid Church delivered 8 baskets to families who had experienced a difficult year. Every Christmas since then, Liquid has continued to bless local families with Christmas Hampers filled with non-perishable items. And over the past six years we have delivered a total of 527 baskets throughout the Mornington Peninsula.

Last December we distributed 150 baskets, and this year we have set the target of 200!

Adopt A Basket is also a global initiative. We are providing Adopt A Baskets to people in the slum areas of Kenya and poor and needy in Uganda and Thailand. Last year GBAB provided 420 International baskets to individuals and families in desperate need.

Once again we provide the opportunity to ‘Adopt a Basket’ at Liquid and make a difference to a local family.

Pick up:

Pickup is from Liquid Church or we can arrange to get the baskets to people not connected with Liquid.

Returns:

Baskets are to be filled with non-perishable food and returned either to the Liquid Office or on Sunday at our Church Service prior to Sunday November 27, 2016

The Baskets will be distributed to local families in need during the first two weeks of December.
